Description: sea purse seeds (dioclea reflexa) are produced in pods by climbing lianas that twine around trees in tropical forests. Looking like mini hamburgers, these mucuna seeds have a texture like leather. The image below shows representative seeds from our stock. However, slight differences exist between batches in shapes, tones and sizes of seeds.
Traditional uses: the seeds are used in cooking traditional soups in Nigeria.
